Description
Can you sense it?
EDIT: better file, as promised soooo long ago.
I always used to think you could only paint sights and feelings. With this piece, I learned how to paint smell. Does anyone else get that sense that there is something in the wind? Maybe it's just me.
Anyway, I love this.
Contest picture for , finished in the nick of time.
I used watercolor, acrylic, and ink. Did at least 50 sketches on tracing paper before starting. Took me months to finish. I think it turned out pretty good. Looks better in real life, promise.
I might go get it rescanned somewhere else besides here with my own. It's hard to scan with my scanner. The painting is bigger than the scanner, so I have to scan it at least 6 times then photoshop them together. In this scan, my signature was cut out so I rewrote it. I'll go to copy corner as soon as possible to get this rescanned, but until then, here it is!
Click download to see it in 50% it's original size.
